The program started in the Bush Adminstration to see where the guns ended up and the accusations against holder was to stop him from stopping Voter ID lays in key states since he was on the warpath of doing just that before he was held in contempt for something beyond his control.


I dont think Holder is an angel of light, but what Issa did was wrong, just pure manipluating the system anyway he can to get those voter ID laws in place in time for the election.

If the report says that, then the report isn't telling the truth...

Fast & Furious started in 2009, after President Bush had left office... The operation Bush had was started in 2006 (Operation Wide Receiver, which had tracking devices physically implanted in the firearms) and ended in 2006 when guns started disappearing.



Considering Holder's deputy has already been forced to resign over this, which I do know the report has implicated some people just below Eric Holder, if Mr. Holder wasn't involved, then he should resign on the account he is an incompetitent idiot.

Fact of the matter is, I'm not sure how much of the report is accurate since the person conducting the investigation actually works for Eric Holder.

You make it sound like the agents behind this hair-brain scheme worked directly under Holder. Nothing could be further from the truth. They worked thousand of miles away in a local field office, contriving their own looney plans to track guns with tracking devices powered by Radio Shack batteries, not any where near Holder located in Washington DC.

People in the Bush administration tried it in 2006 on a very small scale. They realized it was a ret*d thing to do and shut it down shortly after. Obama and Holder started a similar scheme on a much grander scale in 2009 with no attempt to make it work to bring down the cartels.

In add addition, the ATF and DOJ under the Bush administration never tried to audit and launch a criminal investigation against gun dealers that were ORDERED to make sales to suspected straw buyers and even people that the background check system said to deny! Obama/Holder did this to several dealers, who were vindicated when the conspiracy became known and the ATF was under too much heat to continue it's frame-job.

Usually what happens when you investigate yourself. Holder is a criminal but he probably isn't much different than his predecessors in that regard.

That thug Holder is cleared, but several other subordinates will be subject to "discipline". No one will be fired for "fast and furious". Not a single head will roll. Once more the Obama Administration stands up for Truth, Justice and the American Way.

Kraichgauer, the person whom did the investigation works for Eric Holder and thus answers to Eric Holder. While the report labeled some token scapegoats, fact of the matter is that Eric Holder is probably more involved in this than the report indicates, otherwise he wouldn't have been trying to hide those documents and Obama wouldn't have thrown executive privilege into the mix.

Or maybe, Obama and Holder knew Issa would distort anything for his politically motivated witch hunt.
It should be remembered, the Republicans grilling Holder had made it no secret that they were motivated to see him ousted in order to pursue state level voter suppression (or as they called it, rooting out voter fraud).

Kraichgauer, originally Holder and Obama were trying to blame the guns showing up in the hands of criminals, on innocent Gun Dealerships. Furthermore, we also have the New Black Panthers and their getting away with outright voter intimidation.

Sorry, but Issa has more credibility than Obama and Holder put together, regardless of whether or not you choose to recognize that fact.

Holder was acting on flawed intelligence sent up the ladder to him by the nitwits who had dreamt up tracking guns with Radio Shack battery powered tracking devices. Obama had nothing to do with that.
As for the Black Panthers - even if they were guilty of voter intimidation, they hardly have the influence of conservative state governments that have passed voter i.d. laws purposely meant to suppress the vote among poor, minority, and elderly voters.
And a partisan hack like Daryl Issa has more credibility than the President or attorney general? Only on the Bizzaro planet.

Dude they originally tried to blame George W. Bush, but Fast & Furious started after Obama took office. They've repeatedly to falsely blame Bush even after it came out the program started in 2009, after Bush had left office. They also lied to congress repeatedly, so Holder's DoJ doesn't exactly have much in the way of credibility at this point.

As I had understood it, similar programs had been in use during the Bush years. But even if Fast And Furious was a thing of only the Obama years, how is that Obama's fault? I seriously doubt he had the time to dedicate attention to a two-bit, hair brained scheme like this. And as it was the undertaking of a local office, I find it unbelievable that the top cop of the nation, Erick Holder, would actually be behind an idiot idea of using Radio Shack battery powered tracking devices in guns, then sold to the bad guys.

A sitting president regardless of this party is responsible for EVERY LAST THING does by members of his administration. Every Last Thing. No excuses, no exceptions

The oath of office is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is not to try to defend the Constitution of the United States. Trying does not count. Only succeeding counts. If a president cannot full fill this oath then he was unqualified to hold the office and should be called out for his failures.
