Since they aren't exactly regular patients and have suddenly become so, vets don't know as much about them, so treat them like a large horse, since as odd toed ungulates their closest living relatives are horses. But it's great news that Ntombi is doing better.

I agree, although perhaps it would be better in this life rather than another. What they did to this calf is very terrible. The rhinos who are killed are not the only victims, unfortunately. Calves who are left orphans because those monsters killed their mothers are victims as well. And of course, the park rangers who are also killed by poachers.

Good news indeed. The rhino calf is probably traumatized though.

Maybe when the calf grows up, it'll gore and trample the poachers.

That would actually be good. After all, poachers aren't so tough without their guns.
