I just heard that Mindy McCready passed away. I am not familiar with her music. Was she huge in the country music scene? The local news talked about her minute or so. Suicide I read.

Poor Mindy. She had a life marked by physical abuse, cheating, and substance abuse. You hate to see anyone take their own lives, especially when they'll be leaving young 'uns behind. I definitely know what she went through. At 30 years old I was done. I was out of here. I already had illegal drugs in my system, now all I had to do was add alcohol and 48 sleeping pills to it and I'd be done - or so I hoped. If I had a gun back then I wouldn't have been typing this now.
