Recenty, Fox news covered a story on a potential technology that, when utilized, will change the face of our world. Claims like this have been made in the past, yet they rarely get coverage on a worldwide network like Fox news. This leads me to believe that the technology may be legitimate. Please help spread this news so as others may be aware.

You saw something on Fox News and actually believed it?

I'm pretty sure that qualifies you as mentally challenged.

I am really interested in this myself, since I have developed some alternate energy sources of my own. However, The links are not displaying. The only show up as "Click Here!".

That's a lie.

Werbert, Fox news is neither good or bad. Your beliefs have obviously been swayed toward the negative though. It is all a matter of perception. I have seen a lot of propaganda both for and against fox. I have also seen a lot of propaganda against some of its opponents. I choose not to take sides and simply follow what I perceive as important. What if you were to find out one day that fox news were really the good guys and you had the wool over your eyes the whole time. Would you then find solace in the idea that you are now "mentally challenged"? I have never had any issues with anyone on this forum and it is not my intent to begin. Lets just all keep an open mind. If this technology is valid, great. If not, at least it will spur more conversation on this topic.

I'm cynical enough to be immune from this.

Cynical - 1. Believing or showing the belief that people are motivated chiefly by base or selfish concerns; skeptical of the motives of others. 2. Selfishly or callously calculating . 3. Negative or pessimistic, as from world-weariness . 4. Expressing jaded or scornful skepticism or negativity. .

1 and 4 are me. 2 and 3, not so much.

I believe NBC is evil - owned by GE Capital (I used to work for GE).

http://www.pirg.org/reports/enviro/super25/page3.htm

It is said GE uses NBC to lobby government for benefits.

Steorn is legitimate as a research institution, but as to whether they have made the progress they claim, I am uncertain. I have contacted Steorn personally and they have refused to produce any papers or proof of the process that has lead them to such a discovery. They are well within their rights however, but I am uncertain that a magnetic motor, although exciting, will have present technological applications as it is apparently not very efficient.
If you wish to know more about the subject of alternative energy, investigate Dr. Ken Shoulder’s work on High Density Charge Clusters [HDCC’s].

May I add that good science is sceptical, but to be cynical is not so measured. 'A cynic knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing.'

I got as far as the chap admitting he's contradicting the conservation of energy law of physics. While this would be great news, I'm doubtful he found a way around the fact that energy can only be changed in shape, neither created nor destroyed. I think he may be one of these zero point energy boffins that say they're on the verge of a breakthrough. I hope he's right, I hope all the textbooks have to be re-written. But I doubt the Saudis are quaking in their sandals...

Vesica, who jumped the gun in declaring Dubya the winner in Florida in 2000, and who had one of Dubya's cousins on the board of said network?

FOX News. :P

Well, it COULD happen. I tracked down a patent a chap made for a device that could break down water into hydrogen and oxygen quickly and without a lot of voltage. So this bloke COULD be onto something, but lacking a demonstration, I'm doubtful. Anyone could say they have created zero point energy, but it's another to say, here see this ?? And zap ! ! They have a phaser that puts out far more enrgy than it could hold. But until then, it's just so much talk.

Oh My! What people will say just before the debate on their funding. "We cannot say what it is, but we think it going to be really big!"

While I do have a means of producing unlimited clean energy, my first design would have destroyed the planet. I caught that error, learned to restrict input, but the next problem is, it is an ultimate weapon.

I am not going to publish, the Patent Office is out, building the first design might be for the best.

And in regional news, this just in! A planet on the galactic edge went supernova 800 years ago, another case of Theoretical Physics being applied. The only know cause of planets going supernova is Science, intelligence out running wisdom. It was the tenth reported case this year. The best guess is, that upon discovering the cause of the Big Bang, they then tested the Theory.

When the first Hydrogen bomb was detonated, a fair number thought it might cause a chain reaction in the oceans. The best minds figured there was only one way to find out.
