Telegraph the 'zonkey' born at Crimean zoo

http://news.yahoo.com/telegraph-zonkey- ... ts-postbox

Just think, if human women were placed in the same position, love out of loneliness would no longer be an issue, she will take whom ever comes her way. now with that said, why is this animal forced into a zoo without an opposite sex to her own kind to where out of loneliness she has to commit to bestiality out of her own species?

Although, i do find it interesting the beginning marks of evolutionary patterns in the Young starts at the bottom of the leggings up to grass land level. and it took a females mitochondria to bring it out.,

I wonder if the zonkey will be able to reproduce, or if it's sterile.

I wonder if it eeyores.

(I find mules awesome for that reason. Plus they're not as dumb as a 500 kilogram doorknob, unlike horses.)

Sterile.

A cross between different species is always sterile. By definition, to be of the same species, any offspring between 2 members of them must be able to reproduce.

I wonder what this could be. It looks like a cross between a cycloptic gremlin and a goat:

This is what I learned in school too, but it is not an accurate description of speciation. For one thing, it does not work species that reproduce asexually, or that can reproduce on their own because of possessing both (or more) of their species genders. Also, in some cases offspring of different species have been able to reproduce, it's just very rare.

There have been a few times where mules given birth although they are almost always sterile.Only time will tell.
I'm with Dillogic in preferring a mule to a horse, easier to feed, doesn't need shoes, and sure footed in mountains. You can get gaited ones that have a smoother ride.

Did you see the documentary on the Humanzee a few years ago? I recall one person recounting how in the 1920's scientists had managed to breed one, but were so horrified by the results that they destroyed the infant, and all documentation that such an experiment had ever taken place.

No, I never saw that. That's terrible that they killed the poor baby. It's also kind of murder. Was it deformed in some painful way, or was it healthy and they were just freaked out by it?

Well, if the incident ever happened - and we only have reports of rumors - I got the impression that the doctors were horrified by the fact that the child was part human, part animal, and so just freaked.
