This story has hopefully a happy ending, it involves a bullied teen [via Facebook] who sailed between Scottish islands in an attempt to be shot dead by police.

And my kid doesn't understand why I want to observe every detail of everything she does on the Internet, or why she's not allowed to have a personal cell phone, or why she can't take an internet-capable device into her bedroom...

I am glad he didn't get shot and I find it sad how he had to resort to that just to get the help he needs finally. At least he wasn't really going to actually hurt anybody. He was actually manipulating to end his life and it backfired and it turned into a good thing. I hope he won't be charged and he is given help instead.
