This is probably the saddest, sickest animal story I've seen yet.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/15/dog.head.ap/index.html

Who could be such a monster to do this ??

i dont know what to say.....

obviously the person knows her... i would guess that the dog was deliberately stolen, and that the person has a grudge against Crystal, she is a pretty girl, i would assume she has pissed of some girl by being a love interest for a guy she has gone crazy for.

the Valantine reference would correlate, but batteries included? reference to somthing we have no knowledge of so i cannot say.

thats my reason and my gut talking here...

Whether it was a girl or guy doesn't matter. If they were mad at the person they shouldn't take it out on the dog.
The person who did deserves to be tortured...... (not tortured), but at least sent to prison for a long time.

Unfortunately, yes.

http://www.ksl.com/?sid=499124&nid=148

The thing is, there is no indication in the story of what the person may have done to the dog before decapitating it. It's sick, no doubt, but the guy in this link that I posted deliberately made the dog suffer and disfigured it.

That has a vey deranged, sick sense of humour (not to mention Valentine's Day affection) behind it. One wonders, did the dognapper do this in advance, or did they do it on the fly when they found the dog? The police say it's someone who knows the family, but the fact that she put up posters could mean that it was simply a sick crime of oppurtunity perpetrated by the arse-face who did it. Valentine's candy? Batteries? It means that either, like Aspie_for_the_Lord suggested, a jealousy attack, or just some sick psycho stalker with a sense of humour so warped, it's the humour equivalent of a black hole: humour falls in, and you'll never see it again...
