Police: Special education teacher puts autistic 2nd grader upside down in trash can

I hope somebody will investigate that dad in the video version of the story who thinks it is a one time error caused by frustration everybody has. I hope his views are not representative of parents there

Geez, just when you thought that kind of behavior was restricted to schoolyard bullies!

Nor can I. I fear that kid will never truly trust a teacher ever again.

Well, at least one good thing comes out of this then. It's a hard but necessary lesson to learn that anybody who would willingly place themselves in a position of authority over you is your enemy and will cause you harm if they are permitted the opportunity to do so.

But in a relationship with a teacher - or any adult in authority - trust is necessary if it's a healthy and beneficial.

I do not agree with this "anybody'. Plenty of people yes, Beware of the possibility of this happening absolutely yes. But everybody no. Not only with people who place themselves in authority but in any human interaction there is no such thing as everybody.

I don't know what was going through that teacher's mind when the teacher dumped the kid in the trash can.
