I hate seeing reports like this...
In southeastern Virginia, for instance, a 12-year-old girl was charged earlier this year with four misdemeanors — including obstruction of justice for “clenching her fist” at a school cop who intervened in a school fight. SHe went to pick up her cousin at an elementary school, saw a fight and pulled her cousin out of it and when a school cop grabbed her she swore. The cop charged her with obstruction of justice for clenching her first, along with trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
In Green County, Virginia, last October, a school cop handcuffed a 4-year-old who was throwing blocks and kicking at teachers and drove him to a sheriff’s department.
A witness heard screaming and looked inside a classroom to see a 13-year-old Autistic student being chased by a teacher’s assistant, who then struck the child several times with a push pin. The assistant used a cleaning wipe on the puncture wounds, causing more pain to the student. A teacher told the assistant to say the tack marks were bug bites.
90% of these poor kids are booked for misdemeanor charges, such as disorderly conduct, use of public profanity, disrespect, and fighting.
Dill, David - the name I came up with for the resource officer who actually arrested Kayleb.
Scarborough, Derrick - The Principal
