She dumped her husband for a younger man, married him, had the baby, that marriage fell apart, her child is diagnosed with something SHE can't handle, being her biological child she is responsible for his care& treatment. Unlike some well-publicized adoptive 'parents' of foreign kids, there is no sending him back. She must provide quality care, knowing he will never change, never 'get better'...her money cannot 'fix this'. She found a way. Like Casey Anthony, like Zahra Baker's stepmother, like Rilya Wilson's fake grandmother/guardian, the unwanted child, the burden, the complication is gone. I am not saying that Ms. Johnson is completely stable but she had the money to put him in an expensive specialized living facility and forget about him, but chose a different solution. Your point that he was out of her custody is a good one. My opinion, she didn't want him out of sight, she wanted him GONE. One detailed description of the scene in the room when the doors were forced stated that he was found dead lying on the bed on his back, with foam or vomit around his mouth. Aspiration of vomit is not a quick way to die. It's scary: you have to prevent him from rolling over, he inhales the vomit into his lungs, he struggles. Her mind may very well be 'off', but to whatever degree, and whatever accurate diagnosis of her condition, she checked in to the hotel intending to kill her little boy. And she did. Casey Anthony walked out of court, as did Rilya Wilson's guardian. Doesn't look like Zahra Baker's stepmother will be charged with more than improperly disposing of her body. I believe these women have gotten away with murder. I believe Gi Gi Johnson will, too. I absolutely agree with you that something is wrong with her mind, but there is something wrong with all 3 of these charming ladies, and they all killed kids. Sylkat.
