A mass shooting is going on now at Oregon's Umpqua Community College
The police have a suspect detained, though they aren't sure if the person is the shooter.

15 people are dead with the death toll expected to rise.
Over 20 are injured.

It's sad that this is too common.
They now say the shooter has been taken care of.
It's probably another mental whacko. Expect it to be politicized in 3.2.1, too late Obama's already doing that.

You do realize it is quite easy for anyone to get a gun legally and to use it.
You can easily and legally avoid background checks as well.

There has been more mass shootings in 2015 than days of the year.

It should be harder to get guns and there should be decent mental health services too.

But enough people against regulating guns, who also oppose funding mental health services.

It has nothing to do with Obama other than people expect the president to do something regarding a mass shooting.
The president is always expected to do something when a big event occurs, even if it is an act of nature.

I saw this on the news earlier. It hit home since I'm from Oregon and my grandparents lived in Roseburg before they passed away so I've been there multiple times in the past.

Any moron who wants to tout his or her right to a ****ing gun after something like this needs to have their god damn heads examined. :duh:

They say that a lot. They said it about the Sandy Hook shooter and the UCA shooter I think. To me it's like when they bring up that the person had THC in their system. Neither one has absolutely anything to do with the violent acts these people perpetrated.

If the fact that mentally unbalanced people are obtaining firearms and using them to commit mass murder hasn't been politicized, then it should be.
