[SCAM] "IRS is prosecuting you for tax fraud."

Caller claims that the IRS has filed tax fraud charges against you, that you risk arrest if you do not call back, that the number given (909-219-4340) is for the U.S. Treasury Department, and that this is the final notice, even though you may have received other similar "final notices" from other callers. Obviously a phishing scam, because the IRS contacts taxpayers by U.S. Postal Service mail only, and not by telephone.
The Internal Revenue Service wrote:
The IRS doesn't initiate contact with taxpayers by email, text messages or social media channels to request personal or financial information. This includes requests for PIN numbers, passwords or similar access information for credit cards, banks or other financial accounts.
My sources inform me that when the number is called, a very aggressive person on the other end will try to intimidate you into giving them enough personal information that will allow them to steal your identity and rack up an enormous amount of debt in your name.
Ignore the call, and report all details to the IRS.
