Suspected ISIS attack on Ataturk Airport in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (AP) -- Suspected Islamic State group extremists have hit the international terminal of Istanbul's Ataturk airport, killing dozens of people and wounding many others, Turkish officials said Tuesday.

Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said 31 people were killed in the attack while another senior government official told The Associated Press it could climb much higher.

The senior official at first said close to 50 people had already died, but later said that the figure was expected to rise to close to 50.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in line with government protocol, said as many as four militants may have been involved in the attack.

Turkey's NTV television earlier quoted Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin as saying some 60 people were wounded.

There is no evidence it is an attack by [omitted].

It is much more likely to be another strike by those right-wing Republican homophobic Christian gun-nuts.

Yes, 41 are dead, 13 of which were foreign nationals, and 239 people are injured as is being reported on BBC News.

ISIS are always busy, so I hope their focus will come off of Europe soon for the betterment of all.

I hear that Turkey is a big ally of Daesh. Perhaps this is like when Japan blew up their own rail roads and claimed that China did it. Maybe they are attacking themselves to make them look like the victim.

I will admit, attacking the international arrival area, that's pretty fucky...
