"Neenja" video

I read this letter to Ms. Murphy, who made the "Neenja" video:

Aside from their offensiveness, producers in the U.S. continue to trot out the same old tired tropes of making fun of Asian accents and conflating Asian groups, like how Ms. Murphy conflated Japanese people (where ninjas originated) and Chinese people (a different culture that speaks a group of languages unrelated to Japanese). There just isn't anything new or inventive here. It's just another Mickey Rooney knockoff.
I really wish producers can show better understanding of each of the various Asian cultures, instead of doing the same-old same-old.

The Asian woman in that video does not look like she is having fun. She looks like a black person who just showed up to a KKK party.
