The fossil discovery could also renew the hunt for life that may have been present on Mars.

To use the age of minerals to calculate the age of fossils, and vice versa, is an example of circular reasoning -- a logical fallacy.

And, to use short half life isotopes to find incomprehensible dates (especially, where parts of the same animal have dramatically-different ages) is an example of scientific fraud.

The concept of evolution, from singularity, to atom, to advanced life, began as a secretive, religious belief -- believe it or not.

But, when college was still a free marketplace of ideas, evolutionism and creationism were discussed, politely, in the same classroom -- no monkey trial needed.

Possibly, in an attempt to avoid futile, public debate, you will now typically have to pay for quality research material.

But, the results can rarely be repeated, in what is privately being called a crisis.
