Cache shows censorship of scientific research.
Here's one, for the "weird thing they found at the bottom of the lake" category.
Weevlos and his affiliates have outspoken biases against Jews and the autistic.
His preference against the theory of general relativity was very likely shaped by his prejudice against Einstein.
This being said, controversial research papers were apparently scrubbed from the internet, in a way that you can verify, for yourself.

In my experience, there are countless, politically-incorrect, scientific observations, if you gain access or cross the paywall.
While they control the use of language, for public consumption, they have an entirely-different set of beliefs, even down to the fundamental basis of reality.
Many of these discussions, such as what Weevlos is talking about, can be found in out-of-print books, from the Romantic Era. Are the results repeatable. Can you see it, for yourself. Has some vaunted, scientific doctrine ever resulted in a useful machine or invention. Is it good ol' boys and pixiedust.

The worst offenders in this regard are journals which are censoring work on climate modeling and climate thermodynamics. Any article that does not toe the line on Human Caused Global Warming will have a hard time being published. There is now a regime of neo-Lysenkoism in the climate related sciences and technologies....
If a worker even critically questions the validity of the climate sensitivity models currently approved of by the IPCC, that person is immediately branded a Denialist. Scientific Progress is measured by the success of denialists. Starting with physicists who denied caloric and aether and chemists who denied phlogiston..

I'm interested in agriculture, come from the same region as Lysenko, thought that his and the work of Michurin was interesting.
I agree that it is unethical to discuss 'social experiment,' out one side of your mouth, say you are in uncharted territory, then blame failure on the lack of effort. Or, at least, that is my take on Lysenkoism.
My dispute is when:
It can't be reproduced.
Discussion results in social sanctions.
It is advocated and discussed in formal circles.
Weevlos specifically discusses aether, and developments based on such (while you weren't allowed to use that word.)
One wonders whether successful inventors go to Gault's Gulch, and if that is just a euphemism.
