To all the comrades officers belonging to the security services



The Occupation puppet Interior Ministry has issued a statement calling the security officers of the patriotic government deposed by the Occupation to join their former services disbanded by the Occupation, and threatening to consider them as (terrorists) unless they join within the deadline period.

It is more than obvious that this step is yet another indicator of the Occupation and its puppet authority near collapse, and their "no-options left" state of affairs. Remember how the US occupiers, barked loud, shamelessly bragged and publicized the disbanding of the Iraqi patriot security services as one of its outstanding achievement. Sure! This mentioned call comes while the patriotic Armed Iraqi Resistance is globally intensifying its military operations against the Occupation and its puppet authority. Even the Green Zone, the fundamental Occupation hideout in Baghdad, is turned these days into hell through daily bombing, forcing the Occupation inside to ask their militaries to wear kevlars and bullet proof armors when moving around. This ascertains that military operations and man to man combat with light arms are going on in this fort! It also shows the failure of the Occupation old-new plan based on fueling loggerhead in amongst the Iraqi Resistance factions through encouraging some individuals to have the control over the Jihad arena and accuse the fundamental factions of crime and assassinate some of their cadres..Thus the Occupation to change tactics .i.e. to invite the security services to join as soon as possible.

On this subject our Party draws everybody's attention and in particular the security services to the following truths:

1-The Occupation puppet authority wants to have a stronger position when dealing with Iran and Iran' stooges in Iraq, through using the patriotic government security services against Iran agents. Remember Maliki government intentions, directly ordered by Iran, to set a specific security apparatus, to be a rival to the US Mohammed Shahwani's intelligence' service.

2-After four years of occupation, scrutiny and investigation, the US intelligence opened their eyes to a very shining truth: most of the Iraqi Resistance factions' backbone is fundamentally made by Baathists and specially by those belonging to the Security services and the Iraqi Mujahida Armed Forces therefore this invitation further objective is to attract the largest number of the security elements to a new apparatus where the US can achieve the following:

a- get to know and uncover the clandestine elements still unknown. Indeed! The lists within the hands of the Occupiers are poor and lack information's and precision.. and this call to join is nothing but an attempt to establish a complete and a precise Security services' names, addresses, and statuses' list, which will hopefully allow the US to control and to use in its struggle in Iraq.

b- Polarizing these elements, and defining their status will be followed by letting them opt either between collaborating against the Party and the Resistance in order to turn the Occupation defeat into a victory or getting physically liquidated. Here is precisely where is dangerous trap set by the Occupation for the Men of Hard Missions. Those who will join and answer this call will find themselves stooges for the Occupation, will maculate their past, and sully their personal and patriotic honor. When refusing, they will be in the impossibility to get out from this mess when starting to collaborate.. Yes! It is the Occupation which will decide with whom to collaborate and never the recruit..

c- Polarizing these elements, will weaken the armed Resistance; also it is certain that the US wants through some of them to infiltrate and contain the Resistance.. which the Occupation' main and decisive objective in Iraq.. considering the US Congress hard choices imposed on Bush government and asking for a US withdrawal time table in 2008.

d-The Security services' officers experience and their good knowledge of the Iraqi stage and its moving forces, are an extremely important force the Occupation dreams of to compensate its failure to understand the Iraqi chemistry.. Furthermore, this call is a necessary in case the Occupation withdraws from Iraqi towns, to basis on the outside and avoid casualties from one hand and alleviate the US public opinion increasing pressure for withdrawal of forces from Iraq from the other.

3- As for the puppet government and Iran led organizations, by this step, they want to complete the bloody liquidation operations against the patriotic government security services through:

a-Uncovering the clandestine and the wanted elements, before even the invasion, by Iran gangs and later completely liquidate them physically, after giving them some respite sufficient to recruit the largest numbers, into the Occupation collaborators' ranks.

b- Preventing the US from strengthening its security assets by using elements with experience and knowledge about Iran led organizations. Therefore this invitation is a preemptive Iranian step.

c- When the US and Iran, discovered that those who collaborated and betrayed the people, the homeland and the Party and joined in Mohammad Shahwani apparatus were of a non importance and that the largest numbers of the security services men stayed away from collaborating with the Occupation, and that this was a grave mine for Iran and the occupation in the looming decisive moments, the Iranian led elements wanted these security officers to uncover themselves to watch them in a different way.

This shows that there is an evident US-Iranian decision to liquidate the security officers after using them, by the US and before using them by Iran.. in a kind of game, using and moving around every available force in the battle decisive phase. The Party draws the attention of all the security services men about this and request them to hold on to the following:

1- To completely reject joining and never answer the puppet ministry of Interior call.
2- This invitation constitutes another new condemnation for the occupation. Indeed! The Occupier is using terrorism and fear against people in areas which concern personal decision and individual freedom to choose or to reject a given position or opportunity. Therefore the Party is going to launch a international campaign to expose the Occupation behavior.

3- The Party calls upon the Human rights organizations, the jurisdictional Institutions, the Iraqi and the Arab patriotic forces to play their natural requested role i.e. to condemn and denounce such a step expose its jurisdictional lacunas which are a blatant violation of Human Rights.

4- All the Party organizations, inside and outside Iraq are requested to immediately warn the security services comrades who lost contacts with the Party for whatever reason, about the dangers and the traps of this invitation on their lives, their reputation, and incite them to totally reject it under whatever circumstances.

5- To work within the enemy services, to infiltrate them and get information which can help Iraq liberation cause is a central decision taken by the Party Leadership and its central security services on the terrain. It is not an individual decision taken by a loyal person to serve the homeland, the Party and the Resistance through infiltrating the enemy and its services.

Based on this our Party will not pardon any of those who will answer this invitation without an order or a direct and franc permission from the Party and in the framework of the Party and the Resistance' patriotic security plan.

6- The Occupation has admitted and many a time, including former US vice Roy Paul Bremer, that the Patriotic government security services, which belong now to the Party and the Resistance leadership, are still operating clandestinely and in a highly professional ways, superior to the US own Intelligence services thus becoming sometimes even a greater danger than the Resistance military operations.

Our men and women infiltration into the enemy and its puppet authority killer zones and other areas of course, is a fundamental for success! It is vital to smooth the way for the decisive victory. The enemy, be US, Iranian or else, will be surprised with the carefully hidden abilities of the Baath and the Resistance and in every fields.

Considering these above observations we say that individual behaviors and decisions might sow some confusion and perturb the Party's operations and plans while playing a fundamental role in the Resistance and the preparation to liberate Iraq with every possible intelligence and military means.. etc.

Our comrades and men working in the Security services before the invasion, are requested to remain prudent, attentive, and disciplined as far as the Party or the homeland are concerned to avoid getting messed in errors impossible to correct and avoid grave consequences on the homeland and even on the Resistance fate.

This discipline is requested now in the decisive phase and the approaching final victory to expel the US and the Iranian occupations from Iraq.

Due to a theater-wide delay in food delivery, menu selections will be limited for the near future. While every effort will be made to provide balanced meals, it may not be possible to offer the dishes you are used to seeing at each meal. Fresh fruits and salad bar items will also be severely limited or unavailable.



Although we are expending every effort to resolve the situation, should the food convoys be delayed further, DFACs will be required to serve MREs for at least one meal out of the day.



We regret any inconvenience this may cause but we ask for your understanding of the situation.

Congress and the White House may be sparring over funds for the U.S. effort in Iraq, but the mint chocolate chip is still flowing at the embassy in Baghdad. At least for now.



Life in the Green Zone — a Foreign Service hardship post — has long been mitigated by the culinary comforts of home. Virtually every bite and sip consumed there is imported from the United States, entering Iraq via Kuwait in huge truck convoys that bring fresh and processed food, including a full range of Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors, every seven to 10 days.



But mouths turned dry Monday when an internal embassy e-mail announced a “Theater-Wide Delay in Food Deliveries.”



Due to an unspecified convoy problem, it said, “it may not be possible to offer the dishes you are used to seeing at each meal. Fresh fruits or salad bar items will also be severely limited or unavailable.”



If the delays continue, the message said, “DFACs (dining facilities) will be required to serve MREs for at least one meal out of the day.”



Instead of rice pilaf with turkey or fish — Monday night’s main entree, according to embassy spokesman Dan Sreebny, who said he topped it off with two cookies — the staff would have to make do with military Meals Ready to Eat, freeze-dried concoctions with prescribed amounts of starch and protein, capable of withstanding parachute drops and remaining edible for three years after packaging.



“We’ve run out of some things,” Sreebny said. “I miss my yogurt in the morning and my fresh-cut melon.”



Recently, the zone’s tranquility has been shattered by a rash of mortar attacks over the walls. This month, embassy staffers were ordered to wear helmets and flak jackets while outdoors or in unprotected buildings.



On Saturday, the “palace pool area . . . chairs and lounges, outside dining area, ping-pong tables, etc.” were all placed off-limits until further notice “due to the threat of indirect fire (IDF) against the Embassy compound,” according to a security notice sent to all embassy personnel.



As if security threats and overcrowding weren’t enough, now the food is under threat.



Asked about the convoy problems, Col. Steven A. Boylan, spokesman for Gen. David H. Petraeus, the U.S. military commander in Iraq, cited bad weather in Kuwait and along the routes north.



“Visibility was very poor and (it) would not have been safe to drive,” Boylan said in an e-mail.



Oh sure. Right. The first season since 2003 they have “bad weather.” Yeah, that explains the problem. It could not, repeat not, be that resistance attacks are cutting off supplies. Why those news stories about 60% of the supply convoys coming under armed attack while on the way from Kuwait have absolutely nothing to do with it. Right.



Sreebny, who said on Tuesday that the last supply trucks arrived in Baghdad two weeks prior, attributed the delays to paperwork problems on the border, traffic jams and “security issues.” Oh. “Security issues.” Now what could he mean by that?



He said the embassy stocks three weeks of non-perishable food for use in the event of emergency, so no one was yet in danger of MREs.



The Bush administration’s Iraq strategy includes an effort to boost the economy and create jobs in Iraq, and Iraqi factories hope to begin shipping manufactured products to U.S. retailers later this year. But security concerns bar any purchase of Iraqi food, and even Iraqi prisoners held by the U.S. military are fed with imports. In addition, Sreebny said, “if we’re buying (local) food in large quantities it means that less is available for the citizens of Iraq. It’s not fair to them.” Translation: I get paid to tell silly lies like this because Halliburton has the contract. And you get paid to report my silly lies.



In any case, American personnel assigned to the embassy are promised American food — although Kuwaiti bottled water is acceptable.



“This has happened before, in terms of convoys,” Sreebny said, although “this one may be a little bit longer than in the past.” Yeah, that’s what the German press officer said at Stalingrad, wasn’t it?



“Then the food comes and we all gorge ourselves on apples and oranges and bananas again.”



In an e-mail update last night, Sreebny reported that the looming crisis was at least partially averted. “Some trucks have arrived at our embassy and are being unloaded even as I write.” Nice one. Send the reporter a last minute email so the story can be spun, and Sreebny keeps his job. “See, the stuff just got here.” The dumb ass reporter will use that to end his story.
