LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Rev. Jerry Falwell, the television evangelist who founded the Moral Majority and used it to mold the religious right into a political force, died Tuesday shortly after being found unconscious in his office at Liberty University. He was 73.

I hope they have a hard time replacing him but I sure they won't. I always found him one of the most annoying of the bunch.

I would have considered Fred Phelps the most annoying.

One of my best, most wonderfully bizarre friends went to Liberty University and had all his uniqueness crushed out of him. We used to do all sorts of weird, out of the box things at school, but then he went to Liberty and the only time he talked to me after that was to force god down my throat and tell me we can't be friends unless I change my ways.

That's the power of religion.
I hate it when people are like that.

I can't even pretend to feel any kind of sorrow about his death. Frankly it's about f'n time and the world is a better place without him.

I mean evil IMO. And I say 'thank god' all the time. I don't believe in a god though.
