So why not just call it "Scouting" or "Human Scouts"?
Of course, I like to self-identify as a space alien ... :)

I've never been a scout, so I don't know how this is going to affect anything. I AM curious because I think my son might be interested when he gets old enough.

Can we have some former scouts weigh in?

Human Scouts has a nice ring to it, but they'd have to allow girls to join then.

Or is this just a snarky way of implying that trans boys aren't actually boys?

Girl Scouts came into the modern age decades ago.

I was a Cub Scout, and it was awful. We went camping at a playground. Literally, the most boring thing ever, but the local scout leader makes the schedule and organizes the activities. I think ours wanted girls or something, because she was not clear on the interests of elementary school boys.
