Do Republicans know anything about their own religion? Christianity isn't just an excuse to hate Islam.

Why do Republicans still hate Bill Clinton?

Because he was a hippie anti war protester that not only “got away with it” but was rewarded for it by bieng elected president twice and beat back thier attempts to end his career every time.

You have to remember being a republican conservative was not a comfortable place to be when the Sean Hannity’s and the Rush Limbaugh’s of the world were coming into political awareness in the 1970’s. The “traitors” ended up on the winning side of the two big issues of the day Vietnam and Watergate. Their “law and order” man Nixon had seemingly smashed the counterculture with his the 1972 landslide victory only to have him have to resign due to crimes. I believe this is the root of the “conspiracy theory” mindedness often seen in these circles. Their formative political years were spent being betrayed.

It's so much easier to point out the perceived shortcomings of others than to walk the talk, especially when that talk involves kindness and loving one's neighbor.

Well, in the traditional, socially conservative order of things, adultery committed by a strong, wealthy, successful, married man has never been that big a deal, has it? After all, he’s an alpha male and obviously has to sow his wild oats from time to time.

On the other hand, if you’re a liberal, presumably sympathizing with feminist causes, you need to hold yourself to a higher standard in this regard.

Yea, a bunch of old wrinkly men who were mostly born wealthy and spend their entire lives working on behalf of people like the Koch brothers are "alpha males". What a joke. If the right really wants to live in a "Fight Club" world they need to ditch their money and privileged and duke it out physically to see who's the most "alpha".
