I don't care about their sex or race, but I care about their quotes in that article.
Quote:
"Today we usher in a new era of representative government and progressive leadership in Harris County,"
Quote:
"We made history in Harris County on November 6 by electing a talented group of individuals who reflect the people and communities we serve,"
Maybe they'll decide the prison population needs to be representative of the community and reflect the community too and apply the progressive stack to judging the people that end up in their courtrooms.
The whole idea of a campaign to elect judges as a block based on race and sex and not individual quality is profoundly wrong. You don't want a block of people with an agenda like that having power like that. As a group, they will effect change based on race, it's practically a guarantee with what they're saying and their numbers. They shouldn't have any connection to each other at all, yet they're all allies working towards a shared goal.
