That's what happened to every other border fortification built in that region: it gets used for scrap metal.

You really have to be amazed by the stupidity of the "build the wall" crowd.

If they're having to saw through because they can't walk through, that means the barrier is doing it's job.

I'm not that much of a proponent for Trump's wall. But a lot arguments against it also apply to every wall and fence ever built.

Just go the minecraft route and make the wall hollow and fill it with lava. Check mate, smugglers!

Acid or toxic gas might be a bit easier to work with. Lava cools too quickly. Put a little bleach and a little amonia, you have a nice little toxic gas.
