Earthquake hits Croatia

Zagreb,Croatia REUTERS

A large earthquake struck near the Croatian capital of Zagreb today leaving one teenager injured after the collapse of a city building.

Another minor was injured and the quake caused several fires and power blackouts in parts of the capital.

PM Andrej Plenkovic called on citizens to remain outside there homes amid potential aftershocks,but encouraged people on the streets to maintain social distance,Croatia has 206 cases of CV

Plenkovic said the quake ,with a magnitude of 5.3 was the biggest to hit Zagreb in 140 years.

UPDATE 1st fatality,a 15 year old has been killed

I hope there wasn’t too much damage to infrastructure.
