Well, if you are brave, this may be your golden opportunity.

Cruise lines will need volunteer guests before they can resume sailing

Royal Caribbean will be looking for volunteer passengers as the company prepares to return its ships to service. Cruise lines will need to hold mock voyages with volunteer passengers before they can resume sailing with reduced capacity under new rules released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last week. Royal Caribbean’s first cruises next year may be short trips to CocoCay, its private island in the Bahamas.

The simulated voyages will have to include terminal check-in, embarkation and disembarkation procedures, onboard activities including dining and entertainment venues and any private island shore excursions that they plan to provide for passengers going ahead, according to the CDC’s conditional sail order. The idea is to “replicate real world onboard conditions of cruising.” They also must test evacuation procedures, isolation of sick passengers or crew plus quarantining of others on board.

All the passengers must be 18 or older and provide written certification from a health care provider that they have no pre-existing medical conditions that put them at high risk for COVID-19.

So if you are all stressed out over COVID and just need a break, this might be your golden opportunity.

No, not particularly. My twin brother was a cruise travel agent for nearly a decade. He went on dozens of cruises. Family members went on several. I’ve never been on one, nor overseas anywhere.

I especially don’t want to go on a covid cruise, even if it was free - no thanks!

Having already had covid and placing absolutely no value on continuing to live, where do I sign up? 8)

Spending a lot of time on a boat sounds boring to me.

Not to mention crowded and confining.

I dream of it!

However, I would have to get a stateroom with a patio.

Not me, too confining and crowded, and the only cruise my parents have been on, their luggage got lost. Plus right now my immune system's down from chemo.

Nope, too many people.
I don’t care about all the extras on a cruise like casinos, swimming pools and bars.
This I would do.If I ever go to Europe this will be how.

But if you and your wife already had COVID, such as kraftiekortie, then why not!

Because it is uncertain how long immunity lasts. And I can't imagine it would be fun if there is an outbreak. You would be trapped in a birth for quarantine and so you couldn't even skip out.

Not in a million years. I suffered an anxiety attack from just traveling to P.E.I. on a ferry several years ago. And that was before Norovirus and Covid 19 and all the the 500 diseases that have sprung up since the 21st century.

I can't enjoy anything like a normal person. :(
