Georgia confirms Biden victory and finds no widespread fraud after statewide audit

Quote:
Georgia has finished its statewide audit of the razor-thin presidential race, confirming that President-elect Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump, according to a news release from the Secretary of State's office.

Biden beat Trump by 12,284 votes, according to the final results from the audit. This is a slight drop for Biden compared to the pre-audit results.

Officials have said repeatedly that the audit confirmed there was no widespread fraud or irregularities in the election.
Georgia is required under state law to certify its election results by Friday.

Georgia's historic first statewide audit reaffirmed that the state's new secure paper ballot voting system accurately counted and reported results," Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, said in a statement.
"This is a credit to the hard work of our county and local elections officials who moved quickly to undertake and complete such a momentous task in a short period of time."

The suburban revolt against Trump in the suburbs surrounding Atlanta, paired with huge turnout among Black voters, powered Biden's gains in the state, building on years of intensive Democratic organizing to register voters.

Not entirely unexpected, given it was simply counting the votes they had, as opposed to a canvass where the eleigibility of them can be questioned and "inelligable" ones discarded\removed from the count.

A recount can only find "fraud" regarding missing (to a limited degree) or "incorrectly atributed" ballots, as oposed to a canvass which looks at the eligibilty of the votes that had been previously counted, such a multiple votes from a person or inelegilble voters casting votes.

This reminds me when Florida did a recount in 2000 and Bush still won.

Except this time it's multiple states rather than one, and the side who challenged the results back then (running into December) is complaining about the other side challenging results now.

You're... surprised by this? We get antagonized by the white house for four years & you expect us to vote otherwise?

:eew: :eew:

Hey, speaking of voter fraud and SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY since ALL suspicious activity MUST be investigated...

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/202 ... orida.html

https://www.usnews.com/news/national-ne ... ple-states

As for the prevalence of voter fraud, sure it happens. RARELY. And it gets CAUGHT. EASILY. Because of how closely monitored every single step is. All it ever took was to double check, and they found it. Acting like "oh, they just did a recount, they didn't really audit every detail" is not actually a reflection of the processes that are done, either for the initial count, or for any manner of recount. Imagination thrives in the absence of deeper understanding.

About 1100 cases of voter fraud in the last 20+ years. Not 1100 cases PER year, 1100 cases, TOTAL, over the last 20+ years. And they were CAUGHT, and PROSECUTED. That's about 1 person per state per year, for 20 years. It doesn't happen often, and when it does, it's small, and is easily spotted. Many of them are "I didn't know I couldn't vote", or "my cousin just needed 5 votes to become mayor", or "me and my sister in law are trying to get her husband elected to city council". Don't take my word for it. From the White House's Own Website, with additional sources for each entry on the list.

Also the FBI chimes in. Coordinated widespread voter fraud, not really a thing. And we watch things now more closely than ever.

But I guess "lack of evidence just proves how deep the conspiracy is!" never gets old or boring, and why change the formula if it works.

America got asked if they wanted four more years of trump.

Still waiting to see some ACTUAL proof of game-changing voter fraud. Aside from the typical odd rare instances that happen as mentioned above, so far it's almost entirely been empty claims, and home-made speculative fan-fiction based on imaginative assumptions of how voting does or doesn't work.

Like many who voted for Biden & Harris, my family and I have imagined what the media could do on Inauguration Day 2021 if Trump is still seated in the White House watching Biden getting sworn in.

Example: A military coup breaks doors down, manages to get into the Oval Office, and drags Trump out by his ankles as the media broadcasts it on world TV. Trump screams like a little kid as it happens.

That wouldn't be a military coup, that would be removing an unlawful trespasser.
