She’ll look like the real deal after a few years in jail.

A lot of that is makeup and photoshop.

Hardly anything someone should spend 10 years in jail over.

What exactly is she charged with?

Well the Iranian authorities have a point

It’s their plan to lock up all ugly people for ten years so only the good looking can breed.

It says in the article Boo posted what she and other women are being put in jail for.

In that case they better lock up people who had plastic surgery as well

Joking aside...thats a good question. The article links to another article. Neither article says what exactly this crime that deserves this ten year sentence is.

The other article shows how she did it. She is a 19 year old who set out to look like a macabre version of her idol Jolie.

She herself looks cuter than her idol, Angelina Jolie, IMHO.

The charge is “promoting public corruption” and other similar wording. Far as I can tell it's the sort of thing a person would not get into any kind of trouble for in most countries. Several people are being given harsh prison sentences for having a social media account.

This is about a totalitarian government locking up women for a decade or more because they used social media.
