Santa would typically ask the children "If you were naughty or nice?" But for one Santa, he fell into the naughty category.

Santa Claus spread more than good cheer at a nursing home in Belgium — with his visit leaving at least 75 people infected with COVID-19, according to local TV. The alleged super-spreading St. Nick was one of the first to fall sick after his visit to the Hemelrijck care home in Antwerp just over a week ago, followed by 61 elderly residents and 14 staff, officials told VRT.

Staff initially insisted that Santa — who was reportedly the son of one of the residents — wore a mask and adhered to safety protocols, as did those who met him. However, photos of the meet-and-greet quickly proved that to be untrue, the mayor claimed.

... He sees you when your sneezing
He knows when your fever breaks
He knows if you've been bad or good
So you better vaccinate.

Someone baked the Elves

A couple in Overland Park, Kansas by the name of Chelsea and Matt Hightower bought 3 elves. One for each of their three children. Each day they would hide their elves so that the children would search the house to find them.

Image

Last week they hid the elves in the oven. And someone inadvertently forgot and turned on the oven. Now they are toasted elves.

Gingerbread House

One of the common traditions around this time of year is to build a gingerbread house. For a woman in Australia, this didn't quite work out this year. Her ready-made gingerbread house already had a tenant.

Image

She contacted the store, Woolworths. They responded, “Oh no Katie - this critter just wanted a home, but this is definitely not the right one for her!” the supermarket chain wrote. “Thanks for letting us know, and we apologise [sic] for the scary surprise. After all, it’s Christmas, not Halloween.”

I believe that is a huntsman spider. They are rather harmless in regard to their bite. They have been known to cause some cars accidents.

Santa Claus goes Undercover

Peruvian narcs disguised as Santa Claus and his elf were not exactly spreading cheer on a sleigh when they jumped out of an undercover van and broke down the door of a man who made the naughty list, Reuters reported. "We are the police! We are the green squad! This is an anti-drug operation!" one of the agents was captured on video yelling at the hapless suspect in the Villa El Salvador district of Lima. The crime-fighting Saint Nick and his trusty sidekick – wearing flak jackets under their costumes — tackled the alleged cocaine and dope dealer, making sure he will have a less-than-merry Christmas behind bars.

The suspect had been videotaped selling drugs outside his home near a school, a police spokesman said. During the raid, police recovered a bag with hundreds of small bags that appeared to contain drugs, a handgun and a balaclava, he said. "With the results we are seeing, a significant amount of drugs has been confiscated, both marijuana and basic cocaine paste in ketes (small packages of drugs), a firearm has also been seized," said Col. Fredy Velasquez, chief of the Grupo Terna narcotics squad.

Isn't that Krampus' job? Or does he just carry bad kids off to their doom in his bag?

That's why I like Krampus. None of this p**** footing around with lumps of coal in kids' stockings. He just eats the bad kids! This world would be a whole better if there was more of that.
