Given how far away the nearest known black hole is (unless we're talking about the teeny tiny miniature black holes that can be artificially produced), this is not happening anytime soon. This will remain purely hypothetical for a very long time, if it ever happens at all.

So far it seems when anyone predicts what humans will do in the future, it's only the *bad* things that come true. Or it seemed good at the time, but turned out into a dystopian disaster.
