SA government threatens to arrest Israeli Soldiers

I'm against what Israel is doing as much as anybody, but something about this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm sure not everyone who served in the Israeli Military engaged in "war crimes", and the South African government is corrupt enough as it is from what a good friend from there has told me.

The South African goverment says it will arrest South African citizens fighting in the Israeli forces. They will not arrest Israeli soldiers in general. I think it is rather common that people that travel abroad to fight for "the wrong side" in conflicts get arrested when they come home. That has happened to European citizens fighting for the Talibans or ISIS. South Africa thinks Israel is committing an ongoing genocide in Gaza, so in their opinion it's a serious matter if South African citizens take part in that.
