"However, these faster particles are expected to be too small to produce visible meteors, based on early observations," said Peña-Asensio

Will it happen?  Seems likely.

Is there reason for concern?  Not at all.

As worm food. If the worms survive. Which they surely will because when the dinosaurs were all killed by the asteroid (except the ones that evolved into birds), it was mainly the "lowly" creatures like small mammals and frogs and fish and many bugs and insects that survived. If they survived once they just might be able to again.

Well ... there is that black hole they discovered thats moving "a million mph" (its actually 1.3 million miles per hour).

Back in high school driver's ed class they told us that when you apply the breaks ...the number of feet it takes to stop your car is the first digit in the two digit mph speed squared in front of a zero. So at ten mph its ten feet, thirty 90 feet, at 60 360 feet (more than a foot ball field), and so on.

So if your car were as fast as this black hole ...hmmmmm.

That would be 100,000 squared...ten billion...and then a zero. One hundred billion feet! Or 20 million miles! More than half of the distance between the Sun and Mercury of black rubber to stop your car! Or more than a fifth the distance from the Sun to Earth!

Actually, it's a Brown Dwarf, not a Black Hole.

I, for one, welcome our new dusty overlords.
