I think it's necessary. I think it was necessary on Feb 24, 2022.
NATO has air superiority over Russia.
Could decimate the Russian airforce IMO.
I don't think putin the war criminal would use nukes.

NATO's charter limits it to responding to attacks on NATO countries.

And I think,Ukraine ...is not a NATO member ......yet.

I feel (unfortunately) that this was a long range goal of Russia when in 1994 they coerced Ukraine into giving up its nuclear arsenal by saying they would always accept Ukrainian independence. If they still had nuclear weapons it would act as a deterrent against Russian aggression. NATO needs to realize they were bamboozled by Russia and do whatever it takes to ensure Ukraine remains an independent country; it is also in their best interest to do so instead of "kicking the can down the road". I feel eventually there is going to be a conflict between Russia and the West.
