at 90% accuracy, it isn't accurate enough to be used as a diagnostic tool, but as the article said, it could be valuable in identifying which genetic tests to use, greatly reducing the cost of a diagnosis...

I agree that it could be a useful tool, when combined with genetic tests, but the potential for misuse seems high.
"That baby has a slightly protruding right temple! It must have autism! We had better start it on medication right away! Never mind getting an actual diagnosis!"
