Maybe the O factor...Oprah... did give him a big boost.

As a New York State resident, with Hillary Clinton as my state senator, Hillary will ruin this country further if elected President.
The USA needs a leader, not just another politician...and Obama seems to have those qualities.

Obama won, but so did Huckabee (considering that this year is the 20th anniversary of Pat Robertson's failed run, it makes one wonder...)

Didn't Oprah buy the entire planet a few years ago?

Be glad that we live on the wrong one, because we're not owned by Oprah like everyone else. XD

QFT. That's the only reason I actually paid attention to the polls this year; my attention to politics goes no further than 'as long as it's not Hillary Clinton'. The fact that she didn't even come in second, much less win, made my day (at least for the moment).

Hurray for Obama!

You know, I just thought of something. Imagine if Huckabee was elected... "President Huckabee" has a terrible ring to it. Just an unfortunate name, really... I don't like to say it out loud, it sounds like spitting.

Huckabee reminds me of Gargamel from the Smurfs

But he doesn't talk like Gargamel, though (if he did, he would also be talking like Dick Dastardly from Wacky Races).

My favoured candidate Ron Paul got 10%. Oh well, it's better than nothing. :) I am very exited to vote for him in the primary election. I'm already registered as a Republican.

Good job for Obama and Huckabee. If Huckabee makes it to the general election, which he won't, I will vote for him.

At least it's not Hilary.

I can't believe the media blackout with regards to Ron Paul... guess it just goes to show who owns the media.

No way in hell will Obama be allowed to become President of the US.

For one thing, he's black. The US establishment will never allow a non-white person to become President. He would be assassinated if they thought he had a decent chance, and just like MLK and the Kennedys there will be a "patsy" arrested for it and no one will ever be able to prove the actual forces behind it.

Secondly, it will never even get that far. Why? One simple reason - his name. It's one letter different from Osama. Republican posters against him will be the simplest thing ever. "A Vote For Obama Is A Vote For Osama". Photoshops of him with a beard and turban, OBAMA in capitals with a different coloured S within the B. If i had Photoshop, i could make it now. The Republicans have probably already made it.

Seriously, i'm amazed he didn't change his name after 11/9 if he had any intent of running for office whatsoever. He has no chance.

If i lived in the US, i'd be seeking asylum in the Lakota territories right now.
