Totally tangential, but there was an article, in the Washington Post I think, where a spokesman for Mugabe said that Zimbabwes moral superiority over the US was proven by the fact that a US diplomat (who had wandered onto Presidential grounds because of poor signage)
was not shot, whereas if he had been in America he would have been shot. The delusional mind is a wonder to behold.
