One can only wonder if the dog was trying to protect the woman and this was the reason he was thrown out the window......and I don't even like pitbulls...

My uncle - a timid man - worked for the same company for 25 years, doing the same job (making the same item on a machine, day after day for 25 years), was made redundant. His wife was delighted! They would get thousands in redundancy pay - and he could easily get another job. His married children visited, bringing their children ... a "party-like" atmosphere developed - which was abruptly disrupted by my uncle going berserk and smashing up the house. The family dog intervened - and was thrown, full-force, through the (closed) window.

Ha! You beat me to it. Perfect place for "an eye for an eye" remedy.

I expect the animal did attack... but not seriously - I expect it was the doggy equivalent of telling him off for attacking its owner. If a pitbull attacked you then you'd struggle to get it off you.

I wonder if it attacked the man or the vacuum cleaner? My partner's dog is convinced vacuum cleaner's are the root of all evil and has to be restrained in another room when we are cleaning.
