Last year I posted the results for the X Factor Finals but no-one responded. This year it was WAAY cooler and Alexandra is a great deal better than Leon. We are looking forward to buy her single (and possibly her record). I can't believe Eoghan stayed in for so long, he was seriously weak (but cute). What does everyone else think? What a series this year! :compress:

I'm American. BBC America does not carry "X-Factor" and I wouldn't watched it anyway as I am familiar with the theme of the show (that it's like "Pop Idol", which "American Idol" is based on) and I dislike "American Idol".

Alexandra was far and away better than the others and it was only right that she won. Will be buying her release on Wednesday when it hits the stores.

Alexandra sang tonight with Beyonce. They were equals on that stage.

Eoghan was much weaker than the other acts. Popularity and cuteness can take you so far, but at some point you need to step up and stretch yourself. "We're all in this together" just doesn't cut it.

It was a great competition this year - looking forward to 2009!

BBC America is a television channel in the United States. It mostly shows BBC shows (like "Top Gear", "Torchwood", "Life on Mars", "Coupling", "Newsnight", "Dragon's Den" and BBC World News, among several others), second run BBC shows (they get "Doctor Who" episodes about six months after Sci Fi Channel runs them and they also have the cable rights to "Monty Python's Flying Circus") and the odd ITV show (like "Hex"). They're currently trying to get the US rights to "Later...With Jools Holland" as Fuse has done nothing with it for about a year now.

As I said before, they don't show "X-Factor".

britain's got talent and america's got talent are completely different, britain seems to be a talent show with poise and class whereas the american version seems to treat the audience like five year olds...

i think Eoghan should have won, he seemed to improve all the time and his confidence grew at an even quicker rate, plus there wasn't a single night where he seemed to fail.

Alexandra didn't seem to cut it in my oppinion, last nights songs were way too soft and anyone could have sung them in my opinion, plus she semed a bit quieter when with Beyonce... i don't know if she was starstruck or forgot the words but something happened there.
