Too bad there isn't a picture. That must have really hurt. They thought I was going to be a ginormous baby, but it turned out I just had a gigantic placenta. :lol: :lol:

Hefty delivery topic

That baby looks to be almost five months old. He is twice the size of each of mine.

I bet the parents are big. The mother was undoubtedly gestationally diabetic. :o

I remember I was watching a show on big babies in Britain and they said when the mother is over weight, obese according to the doctors. It is likely her baby will be big too when its born. They even mentioned about the baby who was born in 1992 and then it showed him today as a teen and he was thin.
So not all big newborns will be fat.

In the show, the big babies that were born, all their mothers were fat. One of them had to go through a c section to have her baby a few weeks early because it was already big and it would be hard to deliver it because he is so big. The baby weighed 10 pounds.
