it's supposed to be British...
I'm quite confused TBH, I recently watched an interview with him where he spoke with British accent, and he said that he switches to American accent when he appears on American television because he sees it as a kind of "showing respect".
but if he calls someone a stupid motherf***er then why does he bother showing respect with the accent?

It sounds like he has an accent to me... 
it's not very thick but it's there.
When I first heard his tirade on TV I was surprised because I forgot he was British.
