and it does it in his voice!

how? I would be so afraid that i'd say something I shouldn't. I have such a jumbled mix of thoughts. i don't just have one thought stream, i could have the thought stream, like the one that is saying the words i'm typing, and then i might have another one saying some other things. That would be embarrassing if i said something inappropriate.

This technology is amazing but what happens if I think something bad like "Shut up you idiot I don't want to talk" and they hear that?

i don't thin i'd be able to use this if it became commercial, as it is i have way too many thoughts at any given time but the concept still amazes me. this could be used on criminals who refuse to answer questions and also on coman patients to see if they can hear their reletives and also help with other possible problems they might have.

the possabilities are endless.

I didn't even think of that! What if a person in a coma cannot speak, but is aware of it's surroundings and listening? you know, the sort of "she squeezed my hand, Nurse!" sort of thing. Then they could possibly communicate! That would open so many doors!

Best to confer with a Scientologist before making that claim.

it might still be worth trying it though, they could even add a component that flashes when it's the other personality speaking, or make it use a different voice.
