Does this mean that you support persecution by religious fundamentalists on innocent people in love?

Sounds to me like Muslim propaganda. Muslims, Christians, and Jews don't have 1/10 the peacefulness that Hindus and Buddhists have.

Yes. :P

People in love make babies. That is bad. It propagates the filthiest species on the planet Earth.

Oh wait, that was a trick question, there is no such thing as an innocent person in love.

Well, I was just surprised to learn that they even celebrated a day in remembrance of a Christian saint in India.

Valentine's Day really is not part of Indian culture ... so they have a point there. But why do brown people have to go ape-sh*t over this? :( Isn't it a little extreme, this approach? It's very extreme. I think of Indian people as being so polite and reserved ...

Why not just lobby for local legislation that would ban Valentine's Day in their country rather than physically knock the snot out of these poor girls? What does that accomplish for the national character?

  :x

Hindu extremists have been persecuting and killing Christians in India. They have also been forcing Christians to convert to Hinduism.

I know. Christians are persecuted in many countries, peaceful people who come to do humanitarian work.

Also the indigenous Christian populations, as I believe is the case in India. Pakistani Christians are also being persecuted, threatened, beaten, killed and churches petrol bombed and destroyed.

This is never reported in the mainstream media, in the UK at least.

Wow not an Indian culture?

So where did Kama Sutra come from.... :o

Sounds like a group of militant people who just want to ruin it for everyone else. Just like any other authoritarian religion who stomps on anything festive or fun.

Take the festival Halloween for instance and the stories of Harry Potter.....

Yes, sometimes the shoe is on the other foot. In this case, it's a curly-toed shoe.

Most Hindus probably don't take it seriously. The second word, tho, (adjective) is 'extremist'.

The one thing that (barely) holds Pakistan together is Islam. Anyone who isn't Muslim, can expect to take some heat. Strange thing is, there's almost as many Muslims in India as Pakistan...

Kind of a broad generalization, don't ya think?

LOL, very good point!

The extremists can't do anything about people getting it on at home, anyway.

I once owned the Kama Sutra. You know what it is? It's a book on how to be a good gentleman. The sex is one chapter (and there's only 27 positions, I counted...;)

A lot of it is grooming and hygene...
