Loathsome couple Mohammed Rehman and Sana Ahmed Khan planned to use explosives in mass casualty attacks to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the 7/7 attacks on London transport that killed 52 and wounded more than 700.

They were not sure if they would kill more people by attacking a crowded mall or blowing up people on trains in tunnels, and reached out to their social media networks for suggestions on which target would cause the most deaths.

The Evening Standard story is complete with a charming video showing the detonation of a test device in the back yard of Rehman's parents' house in Reading as the happy husband shouts "Allahu akbar!" Utterly despicable.

Justifies Big Brother watching us all on social media.

But does really justify Big Brother monitoring us all on social media?

Thats the question.

I thought that they were caught because one of them purchased too much of some component of their device, and that alerted authorities.

Thank God they were caught before they hurt people.
