I don't know how much of an effect this machine would have on autistics. It seems to work on the principle of impairing specific parts of the mind to enhance brain power - parts of the mind that are probably already impaired in autistics.

Either that, or it could impair us even further and make us go from drawing pictures in our rooms, to painting Sistine Chapels in our closets. :)

Nop, the machine just works the same way a regulair genius works, it puts down parts of the brain so your able to use the other brain part alot better. Its not forever though, just a certaint amount of time. But still, i don't want a machine that can do that sort of stuff (i wonder if it enhanches your memory too)

I tried to send my brain through the internet one... E-bay refused to believe that I could cut it out and complete the sale so told me to get lost...

It occurs to me that someone who draws a picture of a cat repeatedly should get better at it each time even without a stainless steel colander on his head...

Maybe Einstein used one of these things. That's how he suddenly became a genius. Eh, Jens?

This technology is most promising, I would like to see it used as a way to promote autism awareness however I won't lie this technology is dangerous though.

All well and good, but where are the pictures of the cats?

Descriptive words are fine, but the pictures are worth a thousand of them.

The effects of this device merely mimic the effects of any mind-enhancing drugs already in existence, I'm sure.
