it depends on the person, of someone has certain fetishes with either long socks or skirts, he/she will find this sexier then just the skirt alone

I quess I find it sexier with socks.
But when it comes to how sewxy girls are
The most important thing is the girl and het attitude (well, and figure offcourse, go figure :P )
Most likely it has some ground in the forbidden fruits tastes best kind of thought
because it is often related to the katholic school girl uniforms

What about bi/lesbian females? If our opinions are of interest too, then yes -- it's for the exact same reason that lingerie can occasionally be sexier than nudity. There's an implication, a want to see more. It piques your interest a little more than seeing it all at once.

i'd say it really depends on the person. having a mere suggestion of nudity can be more of a turn on for some than a naked leg.

for me it would depend on what kind of a mood i'm in. i went to a boarding school so the girls wore skirts and long socks so it might bring back memories from high school, but in general i'd say there isn't a significant difference in sexyness either way.

I think the socks are an improvement (partly because I have been reading to much manga ^^ and, well, all the girls at my school are just plain hairy O.O)

I know this thread is long past its time. I'd like the long socks. Showing just the top amount of thigh is appealing because it separates that part from the rest. When you show the whole naked leg, the lower skinnier parts of the leg kind of subtract from that juicy thick look of the upper thigh.

Sometimes total nakedness can make somebody less appealing then wearing underwear, underwear sort of separates each part of you and gives each part their own identity. In naked bodies it just seems as if everything is all mixed together, and the brain isn't used to that, because clothing has caused us to look at the human body in separate pieces.

in my opinion it is, but it depends on personal fetishes and things like that.
