In elementary, I was extremely obsessed with roller coasters. I could never stop talking about them. Whenever I did an art project, I would always, somehow, make it related to roller coasters. I studied how they work and always told my friend, who also had an obsession with roller coasters. I also had an obsession with magic, and always bring cards and preform magic tricks with them in front of my classmates.

I'm in middle school right now, and an obsession I have that's kind of hard to explain are phones. I know so many different models of phones that I can tell what type of phone a person has just by looking at the back of it. I could tell the exact model number, when it was released, what carrier it's on, how fast the processor was, how many megapixels the camera on it had, etc etc. It's not really embarrassing, but people often tell me "why are you obsessed with phones? Shouldn't you be obsessed with guitars or something?" and I tell them I make music. Many of my peers listen to metal, so people usually assume I make and listen to metal. I have a very odd taste in music, so whenever I show them my music, they tell me it's very interesting, and later hear them say behind my back that it sucks.

The people obsessions unfortunetley, I hate them cause you always gotta hide it from them and everyone else. Ok I wanna talk about so and so...its like dont mention it. Having a crush on them sorta gives me an excuse at times, other people take great interest in me talking about him...still yet I dont wanna go overboard. I feel like such a creep.

And Im kinda obessed with the LGBT community. I think my friends kinda know that, but hey I go to a extremely liberal college besides LGBT issues have been huge in the media so its a bit excusable. To say its an obession is the embaressing part.

I have a secondary obsession about dolls. It's been a recurring one ever since I was 17. The funny thing is, I never liked dolls when I was a child.
There are many dolls in existence based on my primary obsession, which is Tim Burton movies. I plan on buying a lot of them this year since I'm getting a job. I know a lot of facts about those dolls, such as the differences between different companies' versions of the same character, what scale they're in, what year they were released, how many are in existence (if they're a collector's item), etc.

It's embarrassing for me to talk about, because the prices of the dolls I want are very high, and I don't want people to tell me I'm wasting money on something that they think isn't worth it. I'm also worried that by collecting and obsessing about toys, I will come across as this to other people:

Hahaha i know this is supposed to be such an aspie thing... you know, being obsessed and knowing all there is to know about a few things. I always have something that I'm researching for hours every day and talking "at" my mom about. Here are some of my "obsessions"
-Dogs (wanted one for 8 years, finally got one a year ago, she has helped me so much)
-Computers
-Phones
-Cameras
-Electric Scooters
-Tablet PCs (that's the current)

Well at the moment I'm obsessed with the human body. So that leads me to looking up diagrams, pictures and any information I can get my hands on. A lot of the times, it's not the most appropriate...
I'm also obsessed with psychology and medicine...but that's not exactly embarrassing.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed by my obesessions with nerdy stuff like Magic: The Gathering and Star Wars, but I typically have nerd pride.

Edit: I kinda am embarrassed about how I'm awful at math, even math that's generally considered to be something that should be easy for ninth graders, but I know a lot about philosophy and psychology, stuff that's normally considered advanced and not even taught at most high schools.

Most embarassing is probably my undying love for the movie "Titanic". I could tell you every last detail about both the movie and the event, and my friends think I'm the biggest dork ever. :D

My one obsession that has been going on for nearly maybe 7 years is actually killing me inside because I'm too embarassed to even drop hints.

It keeps bottling up inside.

I'm obsessed with folklore as well as the paranormal. Yes I'm stupid I know but I can't get enough.

It's even more frustrating because I'm not stupid enough to believe everything I read. For the entire time I've been obsessed with it I've only found a few pages that sound serious enough for me to trust them.

It's all the fault of the darned new age community. They keep flooding the internet with they're watered down stuff that I have had extreme difficulty fueling my obsession. I am not new age. I don't identify with it at all.

Okay, so it's out there. I'm a nut. I'm pretty sure this will only be read by people I don't know. I hope so at least.
