Yeah, that's just a basic stereotype. I don't have sex with animals. :P
Because you're in denial. IT ALL FITS!

I am a big fan of anthro art. I think axer's work (http://axerindustries.com) is some of the best i've seen in a while.

In most cases furries are just people looking for social acceptance in a group they believe might identify with them.

Furry fandom is just the expressed sexual frustration of people with bestial leanings.
It's no coincidence that most furries have very unhealthy sexual fantasies and histories, as well as other deviant tastes besides the "yiffing".

Bondage, rape fantasy, and "plushy pumping" (the sexual engagement with inanimate objects, namely plush animals) all run rampant in furry communities, being socially acceptable in most cases.

Now, please tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.
I certainly don't have close friends who are furries and haven't deeply immersed myself in the furry paragon "Furcadia" to try to analyze what these people's causes and obsessions were.

I'm not saying there aren't innocently minded Furries, but the vast majority are indeed sexual deviants.

Yes! Yes! Yes! My parents deny it since their first experience with the whole furry subculture was the dumb CSI episode which protrays the subcultre in a VERY negative light.

I would love to make a fursuit as their called. Only I can get my fursona's features right. I had people draw it for me and it always came out wrong. Either it didn't have all it's accessories, it's tatoo wasn't drawn correctly or wasnt' there at all or it's form was wrong. People always mistake it for a lion but it's supposed to be a musualar meerkat. There really would be no need for a suit because I do not plan to attend any conventions. So it would just sit in my closet and collect dust. My fursona also would not look right in mascot suit fourm. Maybe I'll just make a stuffed animal or something to add to my meerkat collection.

So then you're saying none of that happens, yes?

The oil and the vomiting could be a personal touch by anyone, though obviously the being shot by a farmer part would not be part of the culture.

Well "furpiles" and such decadent sexual revelries are common.
Furries almost epitomize sexual deviancy (in most cases).

Yes, well, sado-masochists do, too. I know, a good friend of mie is (or at least comes very close to being) one.

I won't deny it: I was into the darker side of furry art for a while. It was something new and interesting, and it built up over my interest in the kitsune/foxgirl trend in Japan. It never got to the point where I'd want to **** animals, but I won't say an interest in the more graphic arts was never there.

That said, I have no problem with sexual deviance, so my viewpoint may be severely different from many people around here. You wanna be gay? Go for it. Into BDSM? Give it a shot, see if it suits you. As long as people aren't out there fornicating with animals, let 'em do what they want. It's better than seeing them vent sexual frustrations in destructive ways, like rape.

Now that I've said my piece, I think it's kind of obvious that I like foxgirls. Not anthro-foxes, I mean girls that have fox ears and a tail. It's so cute, how could you not love it?

I'm a furry, I've been in the fandom since I was 14. I'm actually a little surprised to see this thread here.

I've been some what of a furry fan since about the age of 11.

To be honest with you, I really don't know what the big deal is with this post being here. I'm pretty sure that none of the so-called adults in this forum is innocent.

I've LOVED "Furrie" and other cartoon animal art ever since I was small. I've been drawing this way the whole time, and when I became obsessed with videogames I ofcourse discovered that my favourites were always the cartoon platformer genre, especially ones with badass animal characters like in Sonic or Ratchet and Clank.

But only just now did I learn that we would be called "Furries". I know of the term, but I thought it was only meant for the people who are attracted to furrie hentai, and I am pretty different as far as people go, I have Aspergers after all, but I could never understand being attracted to drawings, let alone animalistic ones.

And some of the furry art I really don't like at ALL, I don't like anime, and alot of that I see as being 'lazy furry' where they basically just draw a human and put some ears and a tail on it. What the heck is that supposed to be? A woman in a cat costume? I have no idea... But whatever people wanna be into is fine with me. I'm just always interested in the american cartoon variety that have really exaggerated but awesome expressions and such fluid animations. That's something I want to get into professionally in fact. But I don't think I have an interest to work on humans that much.
