I do this sometimes. Even if it hurts, I just say "I'm fine" and proceed with the game.

what I don't get is if I fall on my butt from riding rollerblades, people gasp when it's not much to deal with. A couple days ago, my friend was riding a bike while I was rollerblading and she was ahead of me. When she heard "kerplunk", she knew it was me and just shrugged and smiled. Oh well.... better than "OMG!"

People somehow manage to hit me in the face with a ball at least once a week in P.E. So far I've been hit with four footballs, three soccer balls, seven basketballs, a badminton (I'm not sure I spelled that right) birdie, four tennis balls, five frisbees, and two volleyballs.

Now I have a tough reputation in school. :P

Yes i must admit i had a bit of a laugh at some of the things you said. I never had this problem as i absoloutly love spot and am a sporty person when i am well enough to be. I do schooling at home now and miss sport alot. Im still in a local sports team but i miss playing and learning every sport at school. My advice would be even though you think you suck at it keep trying, practise makes perfect. Also if you dont mind being a bit of a class clown perhaps try and turn it into a joke? Im sure your P.e lessons would be alot of fun then. If your really finding it hard try having a talk to your teacher or get your mum or someone you trust to have a talk to them for you. Good luck :)

If it's really that bad, you could always ask for an exemption for PE.

Some tips for you would be:

1. Practice; for football (soccer) you could try practicing by yourself, by a wall to perfect your kicking technique. You could also check out instructional videos online to better your technique.

2. Try not care what other think of you; I know it's easier said than done, but it does work for me.

3. When you next kick a soccer ball, divert your feelings towards the ball; imagine that the people that upset and ridicule you are the ball- or their head, rather.

4. Next time a person stands in the way of the ball, kick it straight at them; next time they'll not stand so close to you when kicking and will move out of your way.

...I hope these'll help! :)

I simply told my parents I seriously don't like P.E.
Espically getting changed in the same room as multible other people... It's not that I'm worried about my body image or I'm homophobic or anything like that, I've just never been comfortable with it.

Ontop of this, sport its self... Unless it's a game I enjoy, I hate it quite a lot. :?

Yuck...PE. I'm done with it now because it's a freshman-level class, but I remember and feel your pain! I'm overweight, so I'm sure watching me run the mile gave the other kids a good laugh  Do you have to take it every year?

Since 4th form I always got out of doing sports days - it was so great having surgery on the day of Athletics day. Felt what is the point in doing athletics day if you cannot score any points for your house. Now I really wish I went to my dental appointment in third form instead of athletics day but it looked really good the 2005 athletics day. All I did in the 2006 sports day was the 100m and sit around all day and it was almost raining.

I had a very nasty accident almost at the end of 4th form where I got hit in the face with a basketball and it made me cry hysterically and I wanted the teachers to know I hated P.E and my legs were still very sore from the 4tj form camp 7 days earlier and I managed to get to sit out since then I never did any exercise at school for the next two years. What angered me the most when I was in 5th and 6th form is the athletics day was compulsory for everyone when it wasn't the previous two years. I got so sick at the thought of participating I panicked and I asked to get sent home and honestly I did more exercise walking over the hills home because mum doesn't have a car. I thought I get a say in what I want to do at school now it isn't the law to attend because I got forced to do 6th form by mum and had I done 7th form it would have been far too much.

In school I just skip PE. I sit in the school gym and watch others play volleyball. The only thing I do is the warm-up (in my school we do warm-up just by running) because it's a good training for karate. But I don't need need volleyball as a training for karate and I also hate ball sports so I just sit in the corner and watch others play. The PE teacher doesn't even tell me anything.
I don't need to do PE in school to keep fit. I already do karate and that's enough to keep fit.

I hate PE too because:
Getting an A is extremely difficult
It is loud
The muscle exercises are impossible and painful.
I breathe too hard.
The teacher is always threatening to lower our grades.

I don't see the bloody point in PE , I learn more by poking my eyeball.

I mean this is how it should work , for the people who actually enjoy PE and are good at it , then let 'em play , meanwhile for people like me , just have the lesson be a lesson to do leftover work or some homework or something.
