When I was little I used to be obsessed with computers and programming (and maybe pokemon), but that stopped when I was like 13-14 and now I'm very interested in countries, but only some very specific things, I'm not sure how to explain it. Although I never intended to know that (as there's no reason to), I have remembered EVERY country's exact population, gdp (nominal and per capita), HDI, major and capital cities, ethnic distribution, neighboring countries (and relations with them), minority languages, colonization history, etc... It takes me a lot of time as I like to research stuff about countries all day long and it's not really beneficial for anything except boring the hell out of people. I also still (secretly?) like pokemon... and comic books... yeah...

I can remember a lot of obsessions. Paleontology, Egyptology, Zoology, Serial Killers and criminology, shows, music, bands, writers and books, dolls and other toys, fashion, my hair, and this is going to sound kind of bad but when I was little I had an obsession with obese people, I thought they were super interesting looking, I'm past that now. I also had an obsession with surgery at one point, but not so much any more. I become obsessed with certain mythologies every once in a while, and if I start a game then I play it until it's finished, which is kind of a bad thing with the Sims. Wow, that's a bad run on sentence, my english teacher would be disappointed

Cats. I've loved them since I was a toddler, and as I got older it grew from loving them to wanting to learn everything I could about them, then I started collecting cat related objects including toys, clothes, useful objects like flashlights (I have a cat shaped torch. It's awesome) and other cat related things. These days I focus more on my collection than gaining knowledge about them but I do still find myself rambling on to my friends about all the things I can remember about cats. Thankfully my boyfriend loves cats too, and he understands exactly why I love them so much. Last October he started hand-rearing a week-old kitten he found. She's now a happy, healthy cat and I love him even more because he managed to do something so amazing for a cat. My mum's friend calls me a mad cat lady. I think she might be right.

Politics and the military, especially US Special Operations Forces, although I'm making a token effort to learn about the militaries of other countries, sorta.

I have a friend who's former 101st Airborne with three combat tours in Iraq, and I managed to impress him with my knowledge of the military. This guy knows what he's talking about and there are things I know he doesn't.

I can also give you a rundown on why Operation Eagle Claw failed, the real problems Operation Gothic Serpent caused, why it took us thirteen years to capture Osama bin Laden, and why Marines need a thorough history lesson (I swear, next time I hear one of them say they're better than anyone in the Army...)

I also run a politics blog.

I was soooo obsessed with animals but sadly I outgrew it when I was about thirteen. :(
Nowadays I'm seriously (no exaggeration here) obsessed with harmonies. It's seriously crazy. I'll spend like hours listening to the same song or playing its melody on my little keyboard trying to make harmonies to songs by ear. I also have an extreme obsession with a personality indicator called MBTI which is eerily accurate. I sometimes take the MBTI test for people I know without even telling them so I can try to understand them better. For any of you who have heard of MBTI, I am an INFP. I've found that a lot of aspies are also INFP.
I am also obsessed with video editing, rhyming, puns, coincidences.

When I was young, I was interested in the nazis and how they rose to power. I wondered how anyone could ever be as evil as they were. My parents also got me a documentary on DVD about a mormon teen who stood up to Hitler and died as a result.

My most recent obsession is the furry fandom. Yesh, I'm a furry. PPPuuuuuurrrrrrrr.
