My sisters are about a year or two younger than me, so they can take care of themselves. I have to keep an eye on my brother, though.

I leave him be unless he approaches me wanting to do something. I try not to let them eat too much sugar or watch TV though.

I have four kids and their relationships changed a lot throughout the years. They are 22 boy, 18 girl, 17 boy, 15 girl. My oldest was very close with his younger sister. He doted on her and they were always best friends. She hung out with him always, even though her younger siblings were closer to her age. As a matter of fact, her fiance is a boy who was his best friend from the time he was about 13. They started dating when she was about 14.

They played "house" with the younger two, and the younger two were their babies. Then as they started getting older, they hated the younger two and were mean to them. My older daughter was allowed to hang out with my oldest son, even though they were 4 years apart, but she wouldn't have anything to do with her younger two siblings even though they were all 18 months apart. So, my older daughter grew up in the older kids age group which included even older kids. Now, she and her fiance (22) have friends who are 28 and 29 and who are married or have a baby.

My younger son was finally allowed to hang with them last year and has now become one of the group. He hangs with them all the time and their friends overlap. It's funny because one of my older daughters friends is 25 and a substitute teacher at the high school for 9th grade and my son has him. That boy hangs out here all the time and has for years and he and my son just skateboard and play video games when he's here and they are peers, but at school he's mr so and so. They even go to the same parties.

My youngest daughter gets along with all of them now. She was the last to be accepted into the group, but she really isn't interested in hanging with them. She's nice to them but doesn't go down to the room or anything. She does her own thing but will do things when invite or invite them to do things with her.

There were some really rough years for a while when it was always somebody at each others throats, figuratively and sometimes literally. I'm so glad they are older now and friends.

I feel annoyed. They are 8 and 9, and don't listen to me when I'm saying what my parents would say to them.

They are 5 and 7 and they usually entertain each other, I don't really have to do anything.
I'm normally in my room but I don't close the door to my room when we're alone.... Just in case something happens :)

Mostly we just stay out of each other's hair. Sometimes she wants to talk about stuff that happened at school (she's 14; social drama is the centre of her universe), and I'll just shut up and listen, but we don't often have "conversations" in the normal sense.

Well, my brother left for college about two years ago, but even as young children we never had a "sibling rivalry."

I was always reserved, and he was a bit more . . . NT, I guess. 'Very sociable.

When we were younger (say, when I was about 4-8, so 8-12 for him), we would play video games together. He would win. I loved playing video games, but I was terrible at it. Once he was a preteen, it stopped being 'cool' to play with your little sister, and so our relationship became even more reserved.

I would read and play nerdy games on the computer, while he would just be in his room playing video games or out socializing with his friends.

I know he thought (and still thinks) I'm a bit odd, but compared to the way others perceive me, I think "odd" isn't exactly a bad perception.

I ignore my sister; we go off and dwell in separate rooms, unless we're watching The Big Bang Theory, in which case we might laugh together. However, if we do talk it's usually me telling her something that interests me, and probably annoying her...oh well, who cares? (she does)

he's 22 and i try to be nice to him and ask him if i can do anything and if he'd like to watch movie or play a game with me i even Give him my candies But he always yells at me and pushes me away sometimes even slaps me and tells me I'm annoying. We used to fight even harder i can remember times he hitting me and pushing me to walls and throwing things at me and once in winter he locked me outside of house only in pajamas... But when he's drunk he might hug me and ask if Everything's okay and ask if i want to go out eating with him or play a game. Last weekend he told me I'm beautiful

I have 9 siblings, and only 1 lives out of the house (I'm 3rd oldest), so the place tends to descend into chaos when we're home alone.
