I'm a cross of type 2 and 3, but still unaware of the social world; currently in shutdown mode.

Everyone has their moments sometimes, but most people wouldn't relate my socially awkward moments to AS.

Is it because people are not aware of what is AS or one presents themselves as normal through mimicry?

I am a Type 4 no doubt. If what you mean by poking fun at NTs, you mean being a comical smartass, then yeah, this fits me perfectly. Sometimes I do shut down, but only if my depression gets the best of me.

Type 2 and 4 but with a few more verbal social difficulties than 2, so not quite 1, but yeah...
:D

Type 4 I don't even have meltdowns at home, well not for the last 3 years.

I'm more 3, but deal with my quirks in the same way as 2.

I think I'm mostly type 2. I used to be type 1 until a few years ago.

It feels like 2 to me, but 3 to everyone else. And maybe 4 too...

Type 2: Wants to be normal but can't help acting different. Aware of the social world but sometimes socially awkward. Compares self to NTs all the time. Tries not to have public meltdowns but may have them once in a while.

I'd probably be leaning more towards Type 2. Sort of a mix between 2 and 3, but mainly 2.

I'm probably Type 4, but my friends thought I was joking when I told them I was an aspie, so maybe 3 as well!

Type 2. Depending on mood and situation I can look like a 1 or 3.
