Please advise: what activities / hobbies for my 8-year old s

Hi-

I would like to ask teenagers with Aspergers. My 8 year old son has Aspergers and he has alot of energy. He needs physical outlets. He is easily frustrated, and can get angry - screams and hits.

He is not a big fan of organized sports, but he can also be a fun, outgoing kid. What kinds of activities can I do with him?

Model rockets are an excellent parent/kid activity. Even better if you have a National Association of Model Rocketry chapter that has regular launches nearby--many are quite kid friendly.

Building model rockets is can be a great way for Aspies to gain skills and confidence--you can go from ready to fly rockets to highly complex kits that require excellent hand eye coordination to build.
